The rumours of a Melbourne Ring in late 2013 are getting stronger. No news about the conductor thought it looks as if the Director will be Australian. It appears that a Siegfried and a Brünnhilde have been found.
The Financial Review on 22 July reported that funding for a Melbourne Ring is in place. Opera Australia has 'no comment'.
