Northside Opera Study Group 2018 program

Northside Opera Study Group was started in 1975 by a group of opera lovers on Sydney's north side. Weekly lectures are presented by distinguished artists, musicians and academics. These include music, videos, performances by up and coming singers and an annual concert by students from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Programs are wide and varied and cover traditional as well as contemporary opera.

Pacific Opera 2018 program

Pacific Opera is a non-profit arts organisation that exists to provide training and performance opportunities to the young stars of tomorrow's opera stage, both within Australia and across the world. Led by artistic director Simon Kenway, Pacific Opera's young artists enjoy an annual program of rigorous training in musical, professional and industry skills to further develop them into successful operatic artists.

Asher Fisch & WASO’s Wagner Journey: August 2018

Asher Fisch and WASO’s Wagner journey continues in 2018 with two concert performances of Tristan und Isolde at Perth Concert Hall.

These performances will be the centrepiece of WASO’s 90th anniversary celebrations.

WASO is thrilled to welcome the finest Tristan of our time, superstar tenor Stuart Skelton, and world-renowned soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek to headline an exceptional cast of Australian and international singers.

'Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg' - 13-22 November 2018

Opera Australia’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg - a co-production with Covent Garden - at the Melbourne Arts Centre.

The cast will include Melbourne Ring veterans James Johnson as Sachs, Stefan Vinke as Walter, Warwick Fyfe as Beckmesser, with Natalie Aroyan debuting as Eva.
